Where are you located?

We are based at 358 Albert Street in the heart of the Hokowhitu Village, and we service the greater Palmerston North area.


Is there a fee for the initial consultation?

Initial skin assessment consultations with our aestheticians are free and with no obligation to enroll in a treatment. Consultation with a visiting doctor is charged a predetermined fee. For more details visit www.skinmedic.co.nz


Why are initial consultations important?

During your initial consultation, we will talk about your goals, concerns and any health and lifestyle factors that may affecting the health of your skin. After determining your needs, we will create a personalized care plan just for you.


How do I book an appointment?

You may book via our online booking system Fresha found on the ‘Service Menu’ page of our website or alternatively contact the clinic directly.


What payment or finance options are available?

We offer our clients ZIP, Laybuy, Q Card, Eftpos, Credit Card Facilities and Online Payments.


Do you have a cancellation policy?

In the event you need to cancel your appointment, we must receive your cancellation notice via phone call or email one (1) day prior to your appointment. If for any reason you do not cancel your appointment within the specified time frame, Anigma reserves the right to charge 50% of the original service fee.


What if I have a medical condition, pregnant or breastfeeding?

If you have any medical issues or are taking any medications, please let us know as it may prevent us from providing you with treatment. If you are pregnant, please let your doctor know as some of our treatments and products might not be suitable. We have many facial and beauty treatments available for our pregnant and breastfeeding clients. Our skincare ranges are also completely safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding.


How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments will depend on the complexity of your skin concerns. Generally speaking, 4-6 treatments will be needed to notice visible improvements in the skin. For the best possible skin health, ongoing maintenance is also advised. It's critical to keep in mind that your skin is dynamic. Due to genetic, lifestyle, and environmental factors, your skin may change and evolve over time. Regular facials give you the best chance to review your treatment strategy and make sure you're consistently making progress towards healthy-looking skin.


What aftercare is required?

Your aftercare requirements will vary based on your goals, concerns and treatments you are having. Some treatments will involve redness, bruising or swelling. Your aesthetician will explain this to you prior and again after your treatment.
